Firstly, you will need a Laptop, microphone, headphones, audacity and a script. When I wrote my script I had to get two other friends to record with me .Before I used audacity to record it I had to rehearse it. Audacity is a program that you can use to record anything you want.

I have had lots of fun recording my podcast. To start we had to write the script and practise so that we dont make many mistakes. Then we had to get a laptop and headphones and make sure that the microphone worked. Then we had to press record and talk into the microphone. If we made a mistake we could delete the mistake by highlighting the mistake and pressing delete. When we had finished we had to press the rewind button and play so that we could listen to it. We then had to save our finished work to our files.

At first audacity was very hard to use but after practising everyday Friday it became easier and we had lots of fun.

I have had lots of fun doing podcasts with Jamie and Jordan. Firstly, we had to write a script about what we were  going to record, and we had to practice so that we didn`t get our recording wrong. Then we had to get a laptop and set up audacity. We had to plug in our headphones  and we had to test the microphones just in case it didn`t  work or  the recording was too loud.

We really like Podcasting! We love to use our computers to do our work.

We have used microphones to record our work and ourselves talking. The computer programme that we used is called Audacity.  It was was hard at first,  then it got very easy.

I think other children should use it because it’s good.

Podcasting is fun and way better than our maths lessons!  It is great to learn to record and make funny audios.  All you need is;  A microphone,  A pair of headphones,  A laptop,  Audacity software and a script.  We have all made a class podcast together like a radio show as part of literacy. Ellie and I were the riddlers,  reasponsible for the trickiest riddles around spread out along our piece.  Before we recorded the podcast we had to;  open up Audacity software, test the microphone, practice our own scripts, record them, listen to them and then edit them.

For the last couple of weeks year5 have been learning how to podcast. We had lots of tools on the top of the screen showing what that particular button does. To podcast we had to click on audacity to record ourselves, to record ourselfs we needed head phones a microphone and other things. Before we could record our selfs we had to have a subject to talk about for exsample : Celabraty gossip. I think that using audacity is great if you are going to do an interview. The red button means record the orange button means stop,  the blue button means pause, there is two arrows facind the right wich means fast forward and there are two arrows facind the left wich means rewind.

Firstly you have to get on audacity and microsoft word. Also you need headphones with a mic. Make a script on microsoft word and practice it, after that record it but before that you have to rehearse it. I had lots and lots of fun recording with Dan.c, Jordan and Jack and Mr Sutton is a great teacher.
