Life Cycles
Good Morning Rabble!
I hope you had a great weekend. It’s a pity England went out of the World Cup…maybe we’ll see a few of you playing for England in the future?
O.K, so we have been learning about the life cylces of butterflies and frogs. You have done some nice work in your books so now can you write me a description of what happens in each life cycle please.
Thanks. Miss R
Dear miss r
The frog starts asa egg and turns in to a frog spawn to a tadpole and last in to a frog.
An adult frog can lay at least4,000 eggs in 1. A slimy green frogs egg are called frogspawn; the egg(frogspawn) is then turned into a baby tadpole.
Then it lives life as a tadpole- it has a long strong tail and a rounded head.It can only eat things smaller than it!
The body changes. Just two weeks after hatching out of the egg, the tadpoles start to change. There tails get longer then back legs begin to grow.
It then turns into a frog but …… its still got a tail! After that it tranforms into a adult frog with no tail and two front legs.

The life cycle of a frog is that they start as frog spawn ( eggs ) then it turns into a tadpole. After that it turns into a frog with a tail and then after a while it turns into an adult frog.By Michael
The life cycle of a Butterfly is that it starts as a tiny egg on a leaf then 3 weeks later it turns into a Catterpillar after a while it hangs of a leaf like a J.Then in 3 weeks it turns into a butterfly.By Daniel Cooper
Dear Miss Roberts ,
The life cycle of a butterfly all starts as the adult butterfly lays an egg and leaves it to defend itself. Four days later the eggs hatch into baby caterpillars. They then eat milweed plants (which contain poison) to fight of predators. It sheds its skin four times before finally attaching itself to a plant hanging in a J shape and twisting into a crysalis. After a period of 2 weeks the crysalis will split open and reveal a slime-covered, worn-out butterfly
the life cycle of a butterfly
First there’s a egg on a leaf.
Then the egg hachers into a catapiller.
Secondly the catapiller curls up into a chrysalis
After that the chysalis opens into a beautiful butterfly.

Hi Miss R
Monarchs always lay there eggs on milkweed plants so the young can feed on the leaves. The caterpillar hatches out of the egg . They have no energy when they have hatched : and there very hungry so they find some food and then it grows out of his skin and eats it. After a while it hangs up side down on a leave [in a shape of j] then it provides chrysalis ; it hangs on the leave for to weeks then it turn in to a beutiful butterfly
Life Cycle of a butterfly
firstly a butterfly ends up on a leaf as a small egg then it gradually begins to form in to a caterpillar; soon after the caterpillar will make its self a cocune that will hang of a tree branch then after a while it will start to form its self in to a butterfly finaly it will turn in to a beautiful butterfly then the cocune will break then the butterfly will come out strugling on to a near by branch were it will rest for five days(because butterfly can not fly with wet wings also the cocune is wet inside)then it will fly grasefully in to the sky.
The life cycle of a frog
The egg sporn transforms in a few months to a tadpole
and then the tadpole transforms into a frog with a tale
but in a few weeks later the tale disapears and it is an
adult frog.
